Banned and Challenged Books

Banned or challenged books are books that have been questioned or censored by communities, government, parents, and/or churches for content, theme, language, images, etc. Books that are challenged are not always banned from schools or libraries, and it is through the hard work and education of librarians, teachers, and administrators that the books remain available to the public.
