Entertainment

While  there were no computers, video games, radios or cds or even television, people nonetheless managed to entertain themselves from time to time.  The kings and queens had jesters who provided amusement and often satirical commentaries about the king and queen and the various nobles of the land.  Traveling bands put on shows featuring acrobats, jugglers, musicians and animal acts.

There were also tournaments, which provided knights  with the opportunity to use the fighting skills and perhaps win rich prizes.
