Sherman students may check out three items each week.
Kindergarteners begin by checking out one book at a time.
Books are due a week after checkout; however, they may be renewed until the student has finished reading the book.
A list of overdue books is available to students to peruse each week.
Overdue book notices will be sent home with students once each month.
If an item is lost or irreparably damaged, the student is responsible for paying for the item. A bill will be sent home with the student.
Overdue notices may be sent to parents via e-mail if a parent has submitted an e-mail address to the school district.
