Mr. Bird began his teaching career in 2002, teaching fifth and sixth grade at South Shore Elementary School in Port Wing, Wisconsin. In 2004, Mr. Bird began teaching grade four at Northwestern Elementary School, and has been in this position for the past eight years. During that time, Mr. Bird has been a coach of basketball and softball, and is an official for these sports as well. In 2007, Mr. Bird received his Master’s Degree in Reading from the University of Wisconsin - Superior. Mr. Bird is also a Reading Teacher and Specialist. Mr. Bird’s favorite subjects to teach are math and social studies.
Mrs. Lindberg began her teaching career in 1989, teaching grade four at the Poplar Elementary School in Poplar, Wisconsin. In 1990, Mrs. Lindberg moved up to grade five, and had been a fifth grade teacher for nineteen years. During that time, Mrs. Lindberg received her Master’s Degree in Instruction and Curriculum Design from St. Mary’s University in Winona, Minnesota, and a Professional Library Media Specialist Degree from the University of Wisconsin – Superior. In 2009, Mrs. Lindberg became the Elementary Library Media Specialist at Northwestern Elementary School, and remained in that position for two years. In 2011, Mrs. Lindberg moved back to the classroom, and is enjoying teaching grade four. Her favorite subjects to teach are math and reading.
