Wind Energy

Wind Turbines

A wind turbine converts the kinetic energy in wind to energy we can use like electricity. A large commercial wind turbine can harness between 500 kilowatts to just over one megawatt (1,000 kilowatts). This can power between 200 to 350 homes.
