PLAN: Ask yourself ...

DO:

  • Begin the research process!
  • Look out for key vocabulary and have a dictionary or thesaurus on hand to learn these important words
  • Take notes! Write down the main topic and key details (use a T-chart structure)
  • Click HERE for a data chart to download to help in this process
  • Put your information together! Look for relationships between the key ideas in the notes you took
  • Remember, this paper is an informative, expository paper. You should NOT be including your opinion
  • When writing, make sure you proofread your writing, use a clear structure that makes sense, and DO NO plagiarize anything! Make sure all of your writing is your own and is not copied from any of the resources you consulted during the research process!
