Owl Assignment
There are a wide variety of owls in the world. Which owl is your favorite? Aiden Smith chose the barn owl as a favorite and completed today's assignment to show us what we are expected to have done at the end. Do you see Aiden's example on the left side of the page? For a better look, click on the "Barn Owl" link underneath the owl picture.
Your job for today is to show off your favorite owl. Just like Aiden's picture, this assignment requires the following things:
1) Write your first and last name on the top-right of the paper.
2) Write the type of the owl on the top-center of the paper, located above the owl drawing.
3) Draw the owl in color using crayons or colored pencils.
4) Write at least four facts that you learned about your favorite owl.
5) Write at least two questions you would like to know and research about your favorite owl.
Feel free to go back to the other tabs and check out pictures, facts, and find the sounds that the different owls make. You probably noticed that some of the owl books from our library are on the left and right portions of this page. Much of the information you will need comes from these books and the web links you already browsed through for your research. Please ask questions if you have any, and have fun with this assignment.
