Notetaking

Notetaking

Notetaking is a skill.  It is getting information from other sources so you can answer your essential questions.

You read the source information and put it in your own words so it makes sense to you.

You will have a source card for each resource you use.  For example it could be an Internet website, a book, and encyclopedia, a map, a picture, or an interview.

Each note you take will be a separate entry.  Record the source of the informtion.

You will organize all your notes by category or topic.  This will help you to organize your thoughts when creating your project.

Document your sources by saving them on a Works Cited page on easybib.com.  You will have to create a Works Cited to turn in with your project.
