Nicky Ridgers is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow for the Centre for Physical Activity and Nutrition at Alfred Deakin University, Australia in the School of Exercise and Nutrition Sciences. Her research includes children's physical activity patterns and the factors that effect it. She has also done research on activity levels and play behavior during recess and lunch. She did a longitudinal evaluation of the effects of playground markings and playground equipment with regard to children's activity levels.
