As part of the 3rd Grade Social Studies curriculum in Kenosha Unified Schools, students study their home town. Kenosha, being located strategically between Chicago and Milwaukee offers rich and diverse opportunities to community members and tourists. As part of the study of Kenosha, students explore all the wonderful elements of Kenosha including: history, famous Kenoshans, inventions/inventors from the area, local community resources, and just plain oddities of their hometown. This libguide will serve to assist teachers in providing extensive information to their students and will allow students to explore Kenosha based on their interests. Enjoy!
