This
resource packet will focus on the four seasons of the year. My school district
asks that in kindergarten, we focus on seasonal changes throughout the school
year. This is accomplished through
daily graphing of the weather and many small projects during the school year. I
would like to focus on improving my science curriculum next year, and by
creating this resource packet I will be able to make my lessons more cohesive
and share my findings with the three other members of my grade level team. I
will be looking for books that have quality images or that would serve as
enjoyable read alouds, as many kindergarteners are nonreaders for most of the
school year. I also plan to find
web-based resources that are interactive to put up on my smartboard.
