This Lib Guide will be used with 7th grade students as they read the novel Jeremy Visick by David Wiseman.
The novel focuses on a relationship between two young boys across time - the ghost of Jeremy Visick, a young mining boy of the 1800s, and Matthew Clemens, a boy who lives in the mining community of the present.
The students will need to be familiar with the history of mining, current mining sites, and mining practices as they will be completing a few interdisciplinary projects between Language Arts and Social Studies.
