We have been reading Holling Clancy Holling’s award winning book, Paddle-to-the-Sea. This story highlights Paddle’s journey through the Great Lakes, the St. Lawrence River, and eventually the Atlantic Ocean. We have had fun following Paddle’s journey; he even makes a visit to Duluth, Minnesota and Superior, Wisconsin!

On Friday, October 7, 2011, we visited "Log-A-Load", outside of Gordon, Wisconsin. We learned all kinds of things about the logging industry, animal habitats, and different kinds of trees. We had a great time! Our guide complimented our class on our excellent behavior!
Every week, we read with our Kindergarten Reading Buddies. We enjoy being with them, and helping them learn!
