Working in groups, compare and contrast reliable information with speculation and hoaxes.

Each group will be assigned one topic. While researching your topic using the resources assembled by Mrs. Romens, determine using your guidelines if the source and information is reliable or not. As a group come up with a list of factual information and a list of falsities that are believed to be true about your topic. Groups will be sharing these with the whole class, so that everyone can learn about each topic. Be able to back up each fact with how your group knows that information is true.
