Synthesis

Below are some ideas of different presentation tool that can be used. Your group may use any of the tool here or choose one of your own. Clicking on a presentation tool will take you to a tutorial on that tool.

Microsoft PowerPoint - PowerPoint is a presentation program with slides that move in a linear fashion from beginning to end

Prezi- Prezi is a web-based presentation application and storytelling tool that uses a single canvas instead of traditional slides

iMovie- iMovie is a video editing software application which allows Mac users to create and edit videos

Google Presentations- Google Presentations is a web-based presentation tool using traditional slides

SlideRocket- SlideRocket is an online presentation platform that lets users create, manage, share and measure presentations

To do for Synthesis:

1. Review group outline
2. Discuss steps to complete presentation - Who is going to do what?  How will the presentation flow? (in person, Google Docs, Wall Wisher, etc.)
3. Complete check in 3, "Tweet Your Progress"
4. Continue working on presentation outline
5. Begin working on presentation

Your third check in will be to tweet an update to your teacher using the hashtag #socialmediaresearch

In your "tweet" please cover:

• What presentation tool you will be using
• A copy/link of your working outline
