Class Trip to Washington, D.C.

Each year, the 8th grade class takes a trip to Washington, D.C. It is a culmination of the Holocaust Unit of study. The students work very hard to EARN the trip - that is, they raise all of the necessary funds as a group. Selling Norfolk pines for Christmas, making and selling pizzas for Super Bowl, selling cranberries at Cranberry Fest, and working many other events in the community are just some of the ways they contribute towards their trip. Since the trip is part of the curriculum, the students are writing and learning hands on as they make their way through the city. We feel very fortunate to have the blessings and support of the school and community to undertake a project of this magnitude, and the students are proud  to represent their school and community in D.C.!
