Creating a Graph

You have done your experiment.  You have gathered your data.  Now what?  Check out the resources below to see how to create a graph for your project.

Various Graphs You Could Use to Showcase Your Data

There are various kinds of graphs you can create and use to show what you have learned.  Different kinds of graphs work better for oranizing different kind of information.  If you are unsure of what kind of graph to use, the website listed to the left will be helpful.

Photographs in Your Project

Don't forget to take photographs as you do your project! 

If you are inventing something, show your failures AND your success!

If you are doing an experiement, take photographs at each step of the process!

Creating a collection?  Take photos as you organize it!

Some guidelines for your photos include:

     •8" x 10" or 5" x 7" are excellent sizes for the display board.

     •Place photos in sequential order.

     •"Frame" your photos by mounting them to construction paper.

     •Photo stores can enlarge your photos for you, but printing them out using a color printer works just as well!

     •Take your photos close up!  You may need to crouch down and get close to your project to get just the right shot.
